You’re in for an unforgettable experience at the USASA Region IV Workshop in Portland, Oregon. But here’s the deal: we want you to bring the whole crew! That means your state board and administrators, your league boards and volunteers, and yes, even those team managers who make the magic happen.

Workshop and Weekend Highlights:

  • Engaging Workshops: We have an exciting lineup of workshops and presentations designed to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Awards Dinner: Join us for a memorable awards dinner where we’ll celebrate achievements and contributions in our field. A sign up form will be sent soon.
  • Networking: Connect with fellow attendees, share experiences, and build valuable professional relationships.
  • Hospitality Room: Our hospitality room will be open for relaxation and socializing after the day’s events.
  • Walking Soccer:  Weather dependent, the plan is to play walking soccer, possibly at Providence Park, the stadium where the Portland Timbers and Thorns play their home matches. We are waiting for confirmation on whether they will tear out their turf this winter. That won’t be decided until the new MLS schedule is announced and they know whether or not the grass is in their Messi-arrival future. If it’s a go, we’ll get chartered to the stadium. If we don’t play there, we have a ton of nearby options to choose from, so don’t worry, Tom. You will get your game on. For those who don’t want to play, you will have SpotKick to check and play.
  • Nike Employee Store Access: We have been able to arrange special guest access for the Region IV Workshop attendees from January 1 through the 14th to the Nike Employee Store.  While there isn’t enough time for us to include this as part of our weekend’s sponsored activities, we hope you are able to find time to make it to the store outside of the event, should that be on your wish list.  Store details are in this Nike Employee Store sign up link.
