California Soccer Association – North (CSAN) is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

To protect our members and provide the best possible experience for our players and fans, CSAN and its member leagues use only referees who hold current USSF referee certifications.

Northern California has the largest number of USSF trained referees of all the state associations in the United States.  For information about the USSF referee program in Northern California, and information on how to become a referee, visit the California North Referee Administration website.

Check out CNRA’s Continuing Education Webinars for licensed referees.

You can also find current national information at the USSF referee website.
